Deck 3 will reopen on 1/21/2025

Parking Deck 3 (located at 180 Washington St) will be reopened on Tuesday, 1/21. Repairs have been completed and all levels of the deck will be available to applicable permit holders only. Note: the additional Campus Connect Express bus route that was added due to the deck closure will be ending service on 1/22.

Now Live: Strategic Organizational Support SOPs Section 2

IP&O’s Employee Services group has developed Strategic Organizational Support Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Section 1 went live on our intranet November 6, 2024. Section 2 is now complete and posted. Section 2 provides procedures for IP&O Recruitment Support. It assists IP&O hiring managers when sourcing potential IP&O staff including Craft Trainees, Neurodivergent Staffing, Internships, Federal Work Study, Alternative Job Boards, and Talent Sourcing through Recruitment Fairs. You will find complete program descriptions for each of these categories including program length, requirements, and program-specific details.

New Brunswick Bus System Update, New Route Added (B/L Loop)

DOTS continually strives to enhance the travel experience for our community. As such, we are excited to announce key updates to our intercampus bus system for the spring 2025 semester, effective Tuesday, January 21.

These changes are designed to better address the needs of our commuter students, prioritize safety, improve reliability, and reduce travel time—all to create a more efficient and convenient transit system.

Assistant Manager for the TEL Unit

We are delighted to announce that Maria Betancourt has joined us as an Assistant Manager in the Transactional Employment Lifecycle group within Employee Services, a unit of Strategic Services. Maria brings a wealth of experience-- over 15 years-- in operations and supervision. She most recently served as an Operations Manager at Newark Airport. In this role, she was responsible for all components of transactional and organizational Human Resource activities in an aligned environment which included recruitment, onboarding, separations, grievances, and succession planning. Additionally, her positions have also included a compliance and regulatory component, requiring effective use of standard operating procedures, resulting in successful audits. We are confident in Maria’s abilities and believe she will be a valuable asset to our Employee Services team.
