DOTS continually strives to enhance the travel experience for our community. As such, we are excited to announce key updates to our intercampus bus system for the spring 2025 semester, effective Tuesday, January 21.

These changes are designed to better address the needs of our commuter students, prioritize safety, improve reliability, and reduce travel time—all to create a more efficient and convenient transit system.

Introducing a Pilot for the Spring 2025 Semester: the New “B/L Loop” Route

Replacing the former “B-He” route, the new “B/L Loop” route is tailored to provide enhanced service to commuter students across both the Busch and Livingston campuses. This route will operate exclusively on weekdays during the semester, from 6:00 am to 2:30 am.

Key features:

High-Frequency Service: Two buses with departures every 12-13 minutes will run from 7 am to 7 pm and every 25 minutes before 7 am and after 7 pm.

Stops on the Route (in order):

  • •               Jersey Mike’s Arena
  • •               Livingston Student Center
  • •               Livingston Quads
  • •               Busch Student Center
  • •               Rodkin Academic Center
  • •               Stadium West Lot
  • •               Hill Center
  • •               Science Buildings (Across from the ARC)

We are confident that these changes will provide a more seamless and efficient commuting experience. These changes are a pilot for the spring 2025 term, and if successful, will transition to a permanent route for the fall 2025 semester. Further adjustments may be made, if necessary. Thank you for your continued support as we work to improve your campus transportation experience.
