Due to Friday’s home football game (09/25/26), several parking areas on the Busch and Livingston campuses will be closed or impacted. Members of the Rutgers community are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow additional time for traffic, parking, and event-related activities.
Joyce Kilmer Lot will close at midnight Friday, Sept. 25, for line restriping. All vehicles must be removed before closure or they will be towed at the owner’s expense. The lot is expected to reopen by 6 pm Saturday, Sept. 26, weather permitting. Please plan accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
New gates will be installed and existing gates upgraded in Lot 16 beginning Monday, September 14. Portions of the lot will close in phases over approximately four to five weeks, and existing gates will be offline. Faculty and staff should remove vehicles from designated work areas and may use Lots 11, 20, 22, 26, 30, or the College Avenue Deck as alternate parking. Additional updates will be provided as work progresses.
New citation for RU25 - Unauthorized Use of Electricity for EV Charging: $60. This citation applies to charging an electric vehicle using any unauthorized University electrical outlet or power source.
