The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) has determined motor vehicle crashes to be the number one cause of death of children over the age of six months in the United States. The proper use of child car seats is one of the simplest and most effective methods available for protecting the lives of our young children in the event of a motor vehicle crash.

Inspection Station at Rutgers University

Rutgers University Public Safety is exploring other opportunities to pursue our commitment to child passenger safety within the communities that we serve. We hope to reopen the station in the future and are grateful to all who entrusted us with ensuring that your children were protected and travelling safely.
