- Real-Time Bus Information
There are two mobile apps that provide real-time bus information.
The MyRutgersApp shows real-time bus arrivals in a list format by stop and by route. Visit the MyRutgersApp webpage for more information or download the app and look for the bus icon in the main menu.
Transloc shows real-time bus arrivals by bus stop, and also shows you the current location and capacity of each bus. The app puts you in control with real-time tracking so you'll never miss your bus again.
Visit the Transloc website or download the free app and pan to Newark on the map.
- Rutgers University Student Commuter Rewards Program
The Student Commuter Rewards Program is a green initiative that promotes Rutgers University–Newark students to use mass transportation to get to and from classes. By submitting transit receipts, students can receive up to $50 per month in gift card rewards at kite+key, Rutgers Tech Store or Barnes & Noble. The program is an alternative solution to the limited amount of parking available on the Newark campus.
