Fall 2026 Student Parking Permits

Rutgers–Camden and Rutgers–Newark:  Available August 12
Rutgers–New Brunswick: Available August 19

To park in a Rutgers owned or leased parking lot or deck you must purchase a new Parking Permit.

• The Fall 2026 student permit is valid August 16, 2026, through January 16, 2027.
• Students may pay for their permit by credit card or by adding the cost to their Fall term bill.
• Please pay any open citations before purchasing a parking permit or appeal any citations that are still eligible for appeal. Any unpaid or open citations will prevent the purchase of a parking permit until those are resolved.
• Incoming TA/GA, Part Time Lecturer, CoAdjunct or Fellows for Fall 2026 who have an active status in the HR database, must log in to the parking portal system and register for a permit. If your status is pending, log into the parking portal to obtain temporary parking or send a case to DOTSHelp.
   

Important Notes:
Rutgers–Camden: Sales for Resident permits are limited due to capacity. 
Rutgers–Newark: Permit Sales for Rutgers Newark East are limited due to capacity at Decks 1, 2 and 3. 
Rutgers–New Brunswick: Permit Sales for College Avenue and Busch campuses are limited due to parking capacity.
