  1. If you do not know your username and password; please visit dotshelp.rutgers.edu. Include your name, email address, A#, and vehicle information, including license plate number and state of registration.
     
  2. You will be instructed to login as a visitor; and may change your password after logging in, by selecting your user name at the top of page next to Hello.
     
  3. Please note that the online system will show “$0.00” at the final sale but University Hospital will deduct from each paycheck a portion of the full amount. The annual cost of your parking permit is based on the rules of your employer, not Rutgers.

  • ​​Bring a copy of your receipt to Bergen Deck (P2) and they will issue an access card for the deck. (there is a $15.00 replacement fee for all keycard replacements)
  • If you would like to upgrade parking to guaranteed or reserve, please click on Add Waitlist at the bottom of the home page and choose the location you wish to have guaranteed parking. (If a space becomes available you will be notified via email)

*Guaranteed parking costs $800.00 annually and Reserved parking costs $1,600.00.

To Stop Payroll deductions 

  • Employees wishing to stop/cancel parking deductions should submit this form to stop deduction
  • Once HR receives the form and the deduction is canceled
Retirees 

Rutgers retirees who plan to visit the campus can register their vehicle to park on campus. Retiree parking registration must be renewed every year.

To register for Retiree permit, your position(s) must be listed as a Retire in the University’s database.

Login using your NetID, the system will recognize that you are a Retiree which will allow you to register for the retiree parking permit.

Senior Audit

Senior Audit program participants can apply for a semester parking permit while taking audit classes on campus. Contact the Senior Citizen Audit Program to have your information sent to DOTS. Upon confirmation, an email to register for parking will be sent directly to the Senior Audit participant.

If applicable, upload a copy of disability placard and ID issued by DMV or your municipality during permit registration.
