The implementation of e-Builder, IP&O’s new cloud-based capital planning and project management software solution, continues with 150 active users trained and currently working in the system.
“e-Builder has officially been implemented and the first groups have been trained and onboarded,” said Marlon Hidalgo, Sr. Program Administrator. “There are currently 47 projects in e-Builder, with 430 accounts created and 112 active users,” Hidalgo confirmed. “The system is working as it should we and have received positive feedback with how much faster e-Builder is than AiM especially when uploading documents and creating project budget analysis. Everything users need is the click of a button away.”
“This was a substantial undertaking,” said Joseph Holtsclaw, Senior Director, IWMS Administration. “We also expanded the IP&O Systems Control and Support group, and they are providing a high level of expertise to help end users with all issues they may encounter or questions they might have.”
Two Program Coordinators, Rekha Bhagat and Brandon Miller joined Hidalgo to round out the team.
“The team has wasted no time in getting acclimated with Marlon imparting his knowledge and sharing videos and documentation of system functionality. In addition, Rekha and Brandon have begun taking courses to earn the e-Builder Certification Program credential,” Holtsclaw explained.
Miller comes from a consulting background, has a history of working directly with customers. These skills have been useful in requirement sessions where the e-Builder team gathers with departments to discuss potential system improvements to meet their needs. He has also been successfully handling cases within ServiceNow, end user assignments, and troubleshooting.
Bhagat has a background in finance and IT, which has helped with the many financial reports that are run in e-Builder. Her high financial literacy aids in reading and understanding reports, as well as change orders, commit changes, invoices, and other financial documents, as they relate to the construction management projects. With her IT background she has experience doing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), which is used whenever changes need to be implanted within e-Builder.
Both Bhagat and Miller are attending e-Builder training.
