Parking Operations has a new Parking Portal. If you have the former parking permit website bookmarked in your browser, please replace it with the new URL.
The Rutgers Parking Portal Guide will show you how to manage your account: purchase Commuter or Resident Student permits, view your permit details, update vehicles, terminate a permit, and verify your permitted parking locations.
Parking at Rutgers:
- Please visit the Rutgers Parking website to view updated permit rates and rules and regulations.
- To park in a Rutgers owned or leased parking lot or deck you must purchase a new Parking Permit.
- The Fall 2025 student permit is valid August 16, 2025, through January 16, 2026.
- Pay with your Term Bill or a credit card.
- Pay or appeal citations. Any unpaid or open citations will prevent you from purchasing a parking permit.
- TA/GA, Part Time Lecturer, CoAdjunct, or Fellows incoming for Fall 2025 with an active status in the HR database must login to the parking portal system and register for a permit. If employee onboarding is pending, contact your hiring department to request temporary parking.
- Off-campus permits are no longer available for purchase.
