Please be advised about the upcoming automatic renewal process for this fiscal year Faculty and Staff parking permits. This renewal, scheduled for July 1 will apply to only those who pay for their permits via pre-tax payroll deduction and are Class 1, 12-month employees.

  • Verify your vehicle(s) information:

Log into your parking portal account to ensure that all vehicle information is accurate and up to date. Please make sure any open citations are resolved.

  • Currently Paying through Payroll Deductions?

No further action is needed to select payroll deduction as your method of payment. If you are unsure of the payment method for last year’s permit purchase, you can confirm by reviewing your receipt from last year under “Notices” in your parking portal.

  • Want to opt out of Auto-Renew?

If you choose not to Auto-Renew, you must sign into your parking portal account and purchase your new permit by credit or debit card. Your new purchase will then make your account ineligible for auto renewal. This must be done before July 1st.

  • If you normally pay through debit or credit card but want to switch to pre-tax payroll deduction:

Log into your parking portal account before June 29 and purchase your parking permit and choose payroll deduction as your payment method. Deductions are spread over the 26 bi-weekly pay cycles.

  • Prefer to pay by debit or with credit card?

Permits purchased by debit or credit card will not be automatically renewed. If this is the method you have chosen in the past, you can continue to do so when the permits become available after July 1.

PLEASE NOTE: the following categories are ineligible for permit auto-renewal:

  • Employees with open citations
  • Class 1 employees on leave
  • 10-month employees
  • Classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (contract services (trades), contracted employee full-time, part-time, student employee, TA/GA, PTL, Coadjunct, and Fellows)

You will still be able to purchase a permit but it will have to be done by debit or credit card.
