To ensure safety, any person wishing to dig in New Jersey is required by law to call for a utility mark-out three days before any excavation.

The New Brunswick Campus is a member of the Garden State Underground Plant Location Service. This service enables people, who wish to dig on any of the New Brunswick Campuses, an easy method of determining the location of pipe, line, or conduit which are, housed and hidden underground. Call 1-800-272-1000 (24 hours a day, 365 days a year) to request a Utility Mark-Out.
