Dear Rutgers Community,

The University’s Physical Master Plan effort is being launched, and as students, faculty and staff, you have a unique opportunity to assist in the long-term planning of our campuses.  This will work hand-in-hand with the university’s ambitious strategic plan.

Your participation is crucial in order to develop an accurate picture of the needs of the Rutgers community.  As such, an online tool that will allow you to visually “map” all the ways each of you engage with your campus or location has been developed.  The MyCampus Survey will ask you to locate the different types of spaces you use at Rutgers—such as academic buildings, libraries, parking decks, administrative offices, and your favorite green space—and how you move around campus.  The result of this compilation of real-life usage will help the planning team find patterns of use and determine the functionality (and problems) of spaces and connections across the campus.  See how your data will be visualized by clicking on the YouTube link below.
