Parking Operations is working closely with University Grounds and Facilities to reopen the roof levels of the Decks. Current operational limitations remain in place due to the continued intensity of the storm. Additional parking is available at 261 University Avenue, Newark, NJ 07102. Please obtain a parking validation code from any attendant in Decks 1, 2, 3, or 4 prior to arriving at that location.

Current operational limitations remain in place due to the continued intensity of the storm. The following locations are currently available for parking: Douglass Deck, Livingston Deck, Yellow Lot, and Lot 103.
Lots 11 and 99A will close Friday 2/6 at 5pm for snow removal. Vehicles remaining after 5pm will be relocated to Lot 99D and issued citations: RU04 Vehicle Relocation ($100) and RU06 Closed Lot ($70). Please move to a lot approved for your permit. Lots will reopen Friday once snow removal is complete.

Busch Commuter, Busch Secondary Commuter, Cook Secondary Commuter, Douglass Secondary Commuter, Newark East Commuter, Cook Commuter
Student permit sales for the upcoming Spring 2026 semester will be available on different dates depending on campus. Beginning January 5, 2026, Newark and Camden commuter permits, as well as Newark and Camden resident permits, will be available for purchase. New Brunswick commuter and resident permits will become available starting January 12, 2026.
On Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:00 PM, Deck 2 (166 Washington St.) will be temporarily closed to complete important, safety-related concrete maintenance and emergency repairs.
The deck will reopen on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
Lots 27, 30, and 35 will close beginning Monday, Jan. 5, at 8pm and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 10pm. Vehicles left in the lots after the 8pm closure time will be relocated to the Yellow Lot (northern side), and all associated relocation costs will be charged to the permit holder and/or vehicle owner.
Fall 2025 permit holders may use additional parking locations from 12/10/25–01/16/26. Students without a Fall permit can purchase a Reading/Exam/Winter Session permit for $31.99, valid for the same dates.
Reading Day/Exam/Winter Session 2025 permits (12/10/25–01/16/26) are now available. Spring 2026 student parking permits go on sale in January, with dates varying by campus.
