As an update to our 11/14/24 notice for Rutgers Health - Newark campus Lot 4A, the construction in Lot 4A has been completed and will reopen on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

Parking Deck 2 (located at 166 Washington St) will reopen on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Portions of the deck will be available to applicable permit holders, except for the top level and some spaces around the deck where support posts are installed. 

Parking Deck 3 (located at 180 Washington St) will be reopened on Tuesday, 1/21. Repairs have been completed and all levels of the deck will be available to applicable permit holders only. Note: the additional Campus Connect Express bus route that was added due to the deck closure will be ending service on 1/22.

A new parking citation has been implemented related to illegally parked vehicles in marked Reserved and Guaranteed stalls. The citation, RU07 Parking in Reserved/Guaranteed Stall has a $75 fine. Any vehicle found parked and unauthorized...

Students must be registered for classes and with no outstanding citations to purchase a student permit. Review your parking portal account, pay any outstanding balances, or appeal any open citations...

Beginning Monday, November 11, License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology will resume in all parking decks, P1 Norfolk, P2 Bergen, and P3 DOC.
