Parking Operations is working closely with University Grounds and Facilities to reopen the roof levels of the Decks. Current operational limitations remain in place due to the continued intensity of the storm. Additional parking is available at 261 University Avenue, Newark, NJ 07102. Please obtain a parking validation code from any attendant in Decks 1, 2, 3, or 4 prior to arriving at that location.

Parking Operations is working closely with University Grounds and Facilities to restore parking stall availability across campus. Current operational limitations remain in place due to the continued intensity of the storm. The following locations are currently available for parking: Douglass Deck, Livingston Deck, Yellow Lot, and Lot 103. 

Lots 11 and 99A will close Friday 2/6 at 5pm for snow removal. Vehicles remaining after 5pm will be relocated to Lot 99D and issued citations: RU04 Vehicle Relocation ($100) and RU06 Closed Lot ($70). Please move to a lot approved for your permit. Lots will reopen Friday once snow removal is complete.

On Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:00 PM, Deck 2 (166 Washington St.) will be temporarily closed to complete important, safety-related concrete maintenance and emergency repairs.

The deck will reopen on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

RWJ Barnabas Health has initiated a multi-phase repair project at the Easton Avenue Parking Deck. The first phase began on October 13, 2025, focusing on the roof level, with primary work involving expansion-joint repairs. This phase represents the largest portion of the overall deck improvement program and is expected to continue through December 2025.

Parking Services will be conducting line painting and directional marking work within the Newark Parking Deck 1 beginning Friday, 11/7 - Saturday, 11/8.

Schedule and Impacts:
Friday, November 7: Deck 1

• Deck 1 will close to all new entries at 6 pm.
• Vehicles may exit at any time, but must be relocated to Deck 2 or Deck 3 by 10:00

Saturday, November 8: Deck 1

To allow for event preparation:

• Lot 9 will be unavailable starting at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 21.
   
• The lot will be available after 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 23.

Please be advised that maintenance work will take place in the P3 DOC Parking Deck on the weekends of October 4-5 and October 10-11.

The following lots are available tomorrow as alternates in lieu of game day closures: 

• Bevier Rd - Lots 58,58A, 58B
• Davidson - Lots 61, 63  
• Bowser (before 12 noon) Lots - 59, 60B
• Brett - Dorm Lots and Lot 65D
