The IP&O ServiceNow Implementation Process

Requirements Workshop

The Requirements Workshop is the first opportunity for the ServiceNow Pro Services Team to learn about departmental workflows, processes, and procedures of Records Management, and how employees perform their jobs daily.

As part of the ServiceNow Implementation Core Team, you and your team are subject matter experts and understand the culture and processes of your unit at Rutgers. Open dialogue during collaborative workshops is vital for success.

These workshops have two primary objectives:

Detail the workflows, processes, and procedures your department performs daily. This is described from the end-user perspective in a ServiceNow feature called a Story. To learn more about Stories, click here.

We look forward to seeing you at the workshop!

Daily Standups

As your team progresses through 30-minute Daily Stand-ups, members may be assigned new Stories detailing instructions to be performed within the ServiceNow portal.

To help prepare, we have produced a short video demonstrating the basic layout of the Story Form and highlighting common actions and relevant fields.
