Rutgers University recently updated its Sign Standards Manual to make it more user-friendly and aligned with the university’s refreshed brand. Led by Michael Randall from the Planning, Development, and Design group, the new manual reduces the original 1,000 pages to about 250. It includes standardized colors, such as a new signage red (Pantone 1805C), and features improved navigation, simplified language, and better graphics. The manual is now easier for contractors and staff to use and will be updated regularly to stay current.
