Employee Services (ES) has recently noticed an increase in verbal employment offers being extended to finalists without prior review or consultation with our team. This practice has led to inconsistencies in internal equity and compensation alignment. To ensure fairness and maintain equitable standards across IP&O, we will be implementing and reinforcing these standards:
- All employment offers must be reviewed by ES before extending an offer to the finalists.
- A standardized message will be provided within the ServiceNow (SN) ticket advising the maximum amount that can be offered, which conforms to internal equity and salary scale.
- Any deviations or special considerations must be documented within the SN ticket by submitting a Justification Memo, and approved by ES in advance.
These changes are intended to support a more consistent and equitable approach to hiring and compensation. Your cooperation is anticipated and appreciated. If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact us through your existing ServiceNow ticket or through a new ticket.
