Follow these steps if you would like to provide professional services for Rutgers University's building projects:

Step 1

Send an email correspondence requesting your desire to work on our projects to Theresa Doherty: tdoherty@facilities.rutgers.edu

Step 2

You will be asked to create a CD that must contain the following information:

  • Firm Website URL
  • Email Address
  • Years in Business
  • Areas of Specialty
  • Licenses
  • Affiliations
  • Accreditations
  • Architect/Engineer Staff Composition
  • Insurances and Bonding Capacity
  • Detail Financial Statement 
  • Business References
  • Project Experience 
  • Project Estimating vs. Actual Statistical Information

Step 3

Your CD will be reviewed by the A/E Selection Committee which meets monthly.

Step 4

If your firm does not meet the preliminary qualification standards, you will be notified via email.

Step 5

If your firm meets the qualifications, you will be invited to an interview with the Selection Committee.

Should the Selection Committee determine, from the interview, that your firm does not meet the qualifications, you will be notified in writing.

 If your firm is accepted, you will be required to submit a reduced size of complete working drawings from a recently completed project.

You will be given an electronic passcode to login to access the list of approved A/E firms and to submit a Architect-Engineer Qualifications Standard Form 330 and to submit your URL. 

 

Step 6

The Review Process

Your  reduced set of drawings, Form 330,  and your business references will be reviewed and verified.

Step 7

The A/E On-Call List

Approved firms will be placed on the A/E On-Call List; you will be notified in writing.. 

If you do not meet the qualifications for the A/E On-Call List, you will be notified in writing.
