- What is Nexus?
Nexus is a web-based portal which connects IP&O work function applications. Nexus will enrich the customer experience by delivering improved access to all IP&O services through one, unified platform. Nexus will also centralize information and increase data transparency, clarify processes, and integrate with other university systems for real time information sharing. Nexus will be joining together e-Builder for capital planning and project management, as well as ServiceNow for work management. Other systems will be added to Nexus in the future to enhance even further the service capabilities of IP&O.
- Who is responsible for Nexus?
Nexus Administration manages Nexus applications and addresses system issues and requests. To support this effort, Nexus Administration oversees Nexus Data Governance and Nexus Facilities Condition Analysis and Strategic Planning. These two groups contribute directly to managing Nexus by providing important data, processes, and workflows.
